Job Description of AWS Administrator

Responsibilities for AWS Administrator:
- Deploy and maintain SaaS enterprise application for development, QA, staging and production environments hosted on private cloud infrastructure
- Deploy, secure and administer services on AWS platform
- Manage cloud environments in line with security guidelines- focusing on file sharing platforms
- Develop support guidelines and processes that improve support resolution time and increase efficiency through automation and documentation
- Design, develop, implement documentation and operational runbooks to improve knowledge sharing among the team and the onboarding and training new team members
- Identify and generate solutions to current problems in the organization (problem solving)
Qualifications for AWS Administrator:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) required
- 5+ years of Systems/Applications automation in 24×7 Production Services environments
- 3+ years of operating and securing AWS environments
- Experience with automation and configuration tools like Jenkins, Puppet or similar
- ITIL and/or AWS certification is a plus.
