Job Description of QA Manager

Responsibilities for QA Manager include:

  • Communicate with directors to implement company and engineering strategies
  • Manage team of SQA direct reports, including establishing goals and performance assessments
  • Facilitate SQA team ingestion and decomposition of PRD contents into agile development and testing processes
  • Develop test strategies and test plans, guiding team testing efforts towards successful platform deliverables
  • Engage with development team enabling rapid and iterative delivery of features, fixes, issue research
  • Lead the team through full SDLC for features on our SaaS platform, including analyzing, developing, testing, and implementing critical software components and services for highly novel and proprietary software

Requirements for QA Manager:

  • 5 or more years of technical experience in a QA
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and supervising QA team
  • Experience with SDLC, Agile methodology (SCRUM), Kanban
  • Understanding of automated testing and test coverage measurement
  • Proficient with GUI and/or API automation tools and approaches
  • Experience with programming and scripting (specifically Java) preferred
  • Experience with enterprise solutions, preferably SaaS technologies
